2020 Vision: Through the Looking Glass: Why this theme? We made this decision on the theme before COVID 19 pandemic occurred. We saw a need to change how we view the world and how we serve the community and the world. Things look very different on the other side of the Looking Glass. What might we see??? And we wanted a theme to dress up to. And then the world as we knew it radically changed and is continuing to evolve. The theme seems even more relevant now. And one way we are changing is going virtual with our auction.

You may also make a general donation or designate funds to our Fund A Need causes: Scholarships, Honduras, Weekend Food program. Your support allows us to continue to serve La Conner, the poor people of Copán Ruinas, Honduras and help Rotary International eradicate polio. How do we serve La Conner? We provide scholarships for high school graduates going on to higher education. We provide weekend food to hungry elementary school kids, dictionaries for third graders, support the La Conner Braves Club, and special programs with the school such as Pizza with a Professional and Poets in School. We have supported the library foundation, park projects and poetry festival. We also contribute to other causes in the Skagit Valley. Our international efforts have focused on the Mayan villages in western Honduras, mostly focusing on education but also providing other assistance though the International Project Alliance which is a group of 11 Rotary clubs here in the valley and the club in Copán Ruinas.
